Eva is a two time marathon finisher! Along with 2,600 other SRLA runners, Eva completed her second Los Angeles Marathon last month. Eva is an 11th grader at Synergy Quantum Angelou.

Read MoreThis winter we encouraged SRLA Students and Leaders to stay committed to their goals by participating in the SRLA Holiday Break 50 Mile Challenge. Runners were challenged to complete 50 training miles between Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, January, 8th.
Over 1,000 runners succeeded in logging 50 miles during their break. In doing so, they have stayed on track with their training for the Los Angeles Marathon in March.
Read MoreThis past Saturday, Students Run LA partnered with Nike to distribute 3,300 shoes to SRLA Leaders. Over the next two weeks, SRLA Leaders across LA will hand out these shoes to all SRLA participants. More than 2,800 students and 500 volunteer leaders will receive brand new shoes to continue their journey to the Los Angeles Marathon this March. The shoes are more than just training sneakers - they represent a symbol of achievement.
