“ If I can complete a marathon, graduating will be a piece of cake. ”

- Cesar, Aliso Continuation High School

Dear Friends and Supporters of Students Run LA -

On Monday, April 15, the running community around the world was shocked by the terrible events at the Boston Marathon.  We are all saddened by this cowardly act that has left so many hurt, killed and traumatized.

We feel so fortunate that our students experienced a great day during the recent ASICS LA Marathon with their own 99 percent finish rate,  and now their sense of elation and achievement has been affected by this heinous act.

On behalf of the entire Students Run LA family, our hearts are with the City of Boston and all of the spectators, runners and visitors attending the Boston Marathon.

Marsha Charney

Executive Director
