SRLA Scholarship Program
Each Spring, SRLA makes available to graduating high school seniors a limited number of $500 scholarships, payable directly to the school of enrollment, for post-secondary education (including two or four-year colleges, trade schools, or fine arts programs). These scholarships are available to all active Students Run LA seniors from approved schools who took part in the 2024 Los Angeles Marathon, who are graduating from high school by Summer 2024, and who plan to pursue post-secondary education or vocational training next Fall.

Honda Power of Dreams Scholarship Program
The Honda Power of Dreams Scholarship Program was established in 2019 to help SRLA students achieve their academic dreams for generations to come.
The Honda Power of Dreams Scholarship applicants must demonstrate a 3.0 GPA throughout high school, participate in community service projects, and have completed the 2024 Los Angeles Marathon. Recipients of the Honda Power of Dreams Scholarship will receive a $1,000 scholarship payable over two years and receive FREE race entries to SRLA hosted races. Participating in SRLA events while in college provides SRLA alumni access to the supportive, encouraging environment of SRLA, and they, in turn, will become role models for, and provide a valuable resource to, current SRLA students.
2024 Scholarship Recipients
SRLA is thrilled to announce the 103 outstanding recipients of the SRLA scholarship program, representing 59 different SRLA group sites. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated remarkable dedication and perseverance in completing the 2024 Los Angeles Marathon and have applied the lessons learned to the classroom. These scholarships are made possible by generous contributions from Charles and Ruby Ann Wert, Kimberly Cisneros, Lawrence Stern, Mark & Nancy Nagayama, and The Sterling Foundation. We are excited to support our students academic and personal growth through this prestigious award. Below is a listing of the recipients of the 2024 SRLA Scholarship.
