The 17th Annual  Friendship Run was a great success.  Nearly 3,000 of our students and their Teacher/Leaders, and over 200 community runners completed the final leg of training for the upcoming Honda LA Marathon on Sunday, March 18, 2012.  The day was beautiful and conditions fine for our students to complete their 18-mile requirement.  Congratulations to all participants!

 Could you do this after running 18 miles??   SRLA student, Mitzla, of Los Nietos Middle School, regularly dances with the Dance Azteca group, and was inspired enough after running 18 miles to join them again to entertain the participants and spectators at the 17th Annual Friendship Run  on February 5, 2012.  Press the link to watch her dance!   http://vimeo.com/36728525
